Are you planning a trip to Asia? Then, read this guide and learn 12 things you should know before you go!
You will learn more about yourself and others.
In Asia, you are surrounded by different cultures, lifestyles and customs. You may find that some of the things they do are very different from what you’re used to doing in your own country. This can be a good opportunity for self-reflection as well as an opportunity to learn more about other cultures. For example: if someone offers you food or drink without asking first, don’t take it! In some Asian countries this is considered rude because it means that person doesn’t care if there’s anything wrong with their food (and also because it might not actually be safe).
You should go to Asia or at least visit the continent.
If you’re planning a trip to Asia, you should go. It’s a great place to visit and explore.
Asia is one of the most diverse continents in the world, with over 50 countries and countless cities, towns, villages and landmarks to discover. You can travel solo or with friends–whatever your preference is! There are so many places in Asia that it would be impossible to list them all here; however I will give some recommendations based on where I’ve been before which may help guide your decision making process:
- China (Shanghai) – This city has so much history behind it that I couldn’t possibly cover everything in this article alone! The food here was phenomenal too; definitely try out some local dishes while visiting such as dumplings or spicy chicken soup noodles at night markets (which are open late). Some other places worth checking out include The Bund (at night), Yu Garden Park & Temple Of Heaven Park
There’s a lot of countries to visit in Asia.
There are a lot of countries to visit in Asia. The continent consists of over 50 countries, each with their own unique culture and history. The most popular destinations for tourists include China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. But there are plenty more places that deserve your attention–especially if you’re looking for something off the beaten path!
Asia is home to over 4 billion people (more than half of the world’s population) so it should come as no surprise that there’s an abundance of diversity here too–you’ll find everything from Buddhist temples to Hindu shrines; Muslim mosques; Christian churches; Jewish synagogues…and even atheist clubs (yes really).
The food is amazing.

The food in Asia is cheap, healthy and diverse. It’s a great way to try new things without spending too much money on your vacation.
You will not be far from home.
You will not be far from home.
The distance between Asia and the US is not that far, and the time difference is not too bad either. The culture is very similar, as well as food and people. The weather can be very hot in some countries during summer (like Thailand), but it’s also possible to find cool places in other parts of Asia such as Japan or Korea which has four distinct seasons!
It’s a great time for you to travel solo.
Traveling solo is a great way to meet new people and learn about yourself. It’s a chance to go at your own pace, take more risks and focus on what you want to do. You can also learn how to be independent, which can help you in the future when you are traveling with friends or family members who might have different interests than yours.
If this sounds like something that would interest you then it’s time for some planning!
There are so many places to explore and discover on your own.
I think it’s a good idea to let you know that there are so many places to explore and discover on your own. You can do it all by yourself, or with friends or family, or even with a tour guide! I have done this trip four times now (two times alone), and each time has been different than the last. My first two trips were solo adventures, where I went to Thailand and Cambodia during their rainy seasons. While these were great experiences in themselves, they did not allow me enough time for exploration because of the rain showers that kept me indoors most days! On my third trip there was no rain whatsoever! This allowed me more freedom when exploring new areas without having to worry about getting stuck in traffic due to flooding roads caused by heavy rainfall (which happened quite often). It seems like every time I go back there are always new things happening–sometimes good ones like beautiful weather conditions; sometimes bad ones like getting sick from drinking tap water at restaurants/bars (the locals don’t trust bottled water either).
Although there are many cultures, each country has its own personality.
Although there are many cultures, each country has its own personality. There are different languages and traditions, food and people in each country.
Although there is a lot of diversity in Asia, every culture has its own history and traditions that make it unique from the rest of the world.
Transportation is easy to use and cheap!
The transportation system in Asia is easy to use and cheap! Trains are the best way to get around because they’re fast, comfortable and reliable. Bus travel can be just as convenient if you’re on a budget; however, buses can be uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time or if you don’t speak the local language.
Airports in most major cities are modern and well-organized so navigating them should not be a problem at all! Taxis may seem like an easy way to get from point A to point B but they are very expensive compared to other forms of transportation so make sure that you plan ahead before using one!
You can’t talk about food without mentioning seafood! Seafood is everything from street carts to Michelin Star restaurants, it’s everywhere when you’re in Asia! If you love seafood, you don’t want to miss out on any chance of eating some delicious fish and shellfish in Asia because it can get quite expensive when you go abroad where there aren’t as many options for it as there are here! The best way that I’ve found so far is by going on food tours or trying as much as possible while walking around the city streets or visiting markets in order to see what might taste good and what won’t so that I don’t waste my money if it’s not worth it!
- Food tours are a great way to try new things!
- You can also use the Explore function on Google Maps to find restaurants and cafes that serve local food.
